Licensed Child Care: Infant to School Age
- VSOCC will admit children into spaces following the established priorities and procedures.
- VSOCC will also attempt to support a family's desire to advance children through the agency's entire program continuum.
- VSOCC will also attempt to support a family's desire to maintain siblings within the same VSOCC facility.
- Parents must register a child on a VSOCC waitlist for any and all age-appropriate programs within any and all VSOCC facilities.
- Parents may register on a waitlist up to two years in advance of needing a space within a program.
- A program space will be offered only to a child who qualifies for that program or who will qualify for that program within 30 days.
Waitlist Registration Procedure
- A parent may access a registration/waitlist information package from VSOCC by clicking on the link, phone, fax, or by picking up from our administration office.
- A parent/child is placed in the VSOCC database for the relevant waitlist(s) once the waitlist form is completed and returned with the waitlist application deposit.
- VSOCC administration will give the parent/child a receipt and a letter that confirms the placement in the agency database and on the relevant waitlist(s): what happens when a space becomes available, and how to request a change of space requirement, and how to withdraw from the waitlist.
